Iran Says US Military Activities Will Not Scare Us, Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said while stressing that diplomacy remains the only way to resolve tensions with Washington.
Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said that US military movements do not intimidate Iran. He added that dialogue offers the only realistic solution to ongoing disputes.
Abbas Araghchi gave these remarks during an interview with American media. He said Iran still sees room for a diplomatic solution with the United States.
Araghchi said officials may meet US envoy Witkoff in Geneva on Thursday. He confirmed that both sides are working on a draft nuclear agreement.
Foreign Minister also repeated that Iran’s nuclear program remains completely peaceful. He rejected claims that Iran seeks military use of nuclear technology.
Meanwhile, US media reported that talks could begin on Friday if Iran sends its nuclear proposals within 48 hours. Reports said the United States stands ready to start negotiations in Geneva.
The renewed diplomatic effort comes at a time of rising regional tension. However, both sides appear willing to test dialogue again.
