Afghanistan Earthquake 5.8 Tremors Hit Region
Afghanistan earthquake measuring 5.8 magnitude shook several cities in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Tajikistan on Thursday.
The strong tremors created panic among residents. People rushed out of their homes and offices in fear. Many stood in open areas and recited prayers.
According to the United States Geological Survey, the earthquake measured 5.8 on the Richter scale. The epicenter was located in Bazark area of Panjshir province in Afghanistan.
The US agency reported that the earthquake occurred at a depth of 90 kilometers below the ground. Due to this depth, tremors spread across a wide region.
In Afghanistan, tremors were felt in Kabul and other cities.

In Pakistan, people felt shocks in Sargodha, Kohat, Swabi, Peshawar, Chitral, Malakand, Bajaur, Shangla, Parachinar, Landi Kotal, and nearby areas.
Tremors were also reported in different cities of Tajikistan.
So far, authorities have not reported any loss of life or property. However, relevant departments continue to monitor the situation closely.
The Afghanistan earthquake caused fear across the region, but officials confirmed that no immediate damage has been reported.
