Bank Holidays for Eid-Ul-Adha 2026 in Pakistan: Full Schedule
The State Bank of Pakistan has officially announced bank holidays for Eid-ul-Adha 2026, and its offices will remain closed from May 26 to May 28, 2026. That is Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
This affects every Pakistani who needs to visit a bank next week.
If you have a payment due, a salary to transfer, or a business transaction to complete, you need to act now. Banks and financial institutions across Pakistan will operate on just two working days next week. Those days are Monday, May 25, and Friday, May 29.

When is Eid-ul-Adha 2026 in Pakistan?
The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee confirmed that Eid-ul-Adha will be observed on May 27, 2026. The committee made this announcement after credible moon sighting reports were received from several parts of the country. The first of Zilhaj 1447 AH was confirmed as May 18, 2026.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif declared May 26, 27, and 28 as public holidays on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha. The official notification stated the holidays cover Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
