Yemen crisis solution needs urgent and united global action, Pakistan said at the United Nations.
In New York, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Asim Iftikhar, stressed the need for immediate humanitarian aid and coordinated international efforts. He said the world must act fast to address the Yemen crisis.
He urged the global community to focus on political and humanitarian aspects without delay. Pakistan called for protecting the Yemeni people from hunger, disease, and displacement.
Asim Iftikhar stated that there is no military solution to the conflict. He said diplomacy and a clear peace roadmap remain the only effective path forward.
He added that the international community must deliver rapid and well-coordinated assistance. Pakistan advised all parties to follow the United Nations peace roadmap.
He emphasized that immediate action is vital to achieve humanitarian, political, and economic stability. Pakistan reiterated that a Yemen crisis solution depends on unity, diplomacy, and sustained global support.
