Winter Vacations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Announced

Winter vacations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have been officially announced for all educational institutions across the province.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Education Secretary confirmed the schedule for different regions. Schools and colleges in summer zones will observe winter holidays from January 1 to January 15.

Educational institutions in winter zones will remain closed from December 22 to February 28. This schedule applies to all public and private institutions.

In Punjab, winter vacations will start on December 23, 2025, and continue until January 11, 2026. Schools will reopen on January 12.

The Balochistan Education Department announced that schools in cold areas will close from December 16 for about two and a half months. This decision applies equally to public and private schools.

Sindh will observe winter vacations from December 22 to December 31. All educational institutions will reopen on January 1 and resume normal activities.
