WhatsApp Status Privacy Feature Introduced for Users

WhatsApp added this option inside the Status menu. When users open the menu, they see a new option called “Audience.” Users can tap it to set privacy preferences.
The Audience option offers three choices. Users can select My Contacts, Only Share With, or Except. These options help users choose specific people for each status.
WhatsApp also allows users to add or remove specific contacts. This feature gives flexible privacy control for every update.
The company released this option in the beta version for now. WhatsApp has not shared a confirmed date for its global rollout.
