Voice of Hind Rajab Nominated for Oscars 2026
Voice of Hind Rajab has earned a nomination for the Oscars 2026 in the Best International Feature Film category.
The film tells the heartbreaking true story of five-year-old Palestinian girl Hind Rajab from Gaza. She lost her life during an attack in January 2024.
The story shows Hind’s final moments in a realistic and emotional way. It focuses on pain, fear, and the harsh reality of life in Gaza.
Hind tried to escape Gaza City with six family members. Israeli gunfire hit their car during the escape. All relatives died on the spot.

Hind survived for a short time after the attack. Later, gunfire killed her as well.

The film received strong praise at the 2025 Venice Film Festival. The audience gave it a standing ovation that lasted nearly 24 minutes. The jury also awarded it the Silver Lion Grand Jury Prize.

After the Oscar nomination announcement, the Red Sea Film Foundation shared a statement on Instagram. The foundation said the nomination reflects the strong creative vision and hard work of the entire team.
