Trump warns countries after Venezuela as the United States signals a tougher foreign policy approach. US President Donald Trump warned several countries after Venezuela and said more actions could follow.
Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One, President Trump said the United States remains ready to act again against Venezuela if needed. He added that another attack depends on the behavior of the Venezuelan government.
President Trump said Venezuela has collapsed as a state and needs rebuilding. He stated that US oil companies will invest heavily to restore the country’s oil infrastructure. He also said American firms will lead efforts to improve energy facilities.

The US president warned Venezuela’s vice president that failure to cooperate will result in serious consequences. He said the US wants to manage Venezuela after the arrest of President Nicolas Maduro. He added that Delcy Rodriguez is willing to take steps the US considers necessary.
President Trump also spoke about Colombia. He claimed the country is under weak leadership and said military action there is possible. He warned Iran to stop violence or face a strong response.
He further said Cuba depended on Venezuela, but that support has ended. He added that Cuba will fall on its own without military action. He also said Mexico must fix its internal issues and that the US may take steps if needed.
President Trump stated that the United States needs Greenland and repeated his interest in acquiring it. He also mentioned India and said Prime Minister Modi reduced oil purchases from Russia after tariff pressure. He warned that the US may raise tariffs on New Delhi if required.
