Toyota Global Production and Sales Decline Hits Record Low

Toyota’s global production and sales decline marked a record drop in November this year, according to the company’s latest data.

Toyota Motor Corporation reported a 5.5% decline in global production for November. Production dropped to 821,723 vehicles, marking the first decline in the past six months.

The company stated that overseas production fell by 3.4 percent. Total overseas output stood at 563,546 vehicles. Production inside Japan also declined sharply. Domestic output dropped 9.7 percent to 258,177 units.

Toyota also confirmed a decline in global sales. Worldwide sales fell by 2.2 percent in November. Total sales reached 911,000 vehicles, showing the first drop in the last eleven months.

Overseas sales recorded a 2.6 percent decrease. The figure settled at 769,789 vehicles. Sales in Japan decreased by 0.2 percent, reaching a total of 130,222 units.

Industry experts see these figures as a clear sign of slowing demand and production challenges. Toyota’s global production and sales decline highlight growing pressure on the global auto industry.
