The first Super Moon 2025 will appear in the sky tonight.
According to a spokesperson from SUPARCO, during the Super Moon, the moon will be about 224,000 miles away from Earth. It will appear 6.6% larger and 13% brighter than a regular full moon. People in Pakistan will also be able to see this amazing sight.

The Super Moon will rise from the east right after sunset and will set in the west before sunrise.
SUPARCO also announced that two more Super Moons will appear later this year. The brightest Super Moon is expected on November 5, while the third one will be visible on December 5.

Astronomers explain that a Super Moon occurs when the moon comes closest to Earth in its orbit. Because of this closeness, it looks bigger and brighter than usual. That’s why it is called a Super Moon.
