Sindh Government Bureaucracy Shake-Up Removes Key Officials

The Sindh Government bureaucracy shake-up has removed two senior officers from their current positions. The provincial government issued an official notification on Friday.

According to the notification, the Special Secretary of Local Government lost the post. The government also removed the Project Director of the Yellow Line Bus Transit Project.

The government directed both officers to report immediately to the Services Department. Officials confirmed that the decision aimed to improve administration and strengthen performance.

Sources said the government took this step to make the system more effective. Authorities want to speed up work and fix management gaps.

The Sindh Government described the transfers as part of routine administrative action. However, officials also linked the move to ongoing development projects and local government matters.
