Sindh Academic Year 2026-27 Starts April 1, Exam Schedule

Sindh academic year 2026-27 will start on April 1, 2026, after the steering committee approved the full schedule of admissions, exams, and holidays. The meeting took place under the chairmanship of Education Minister Sardar Ali Shah.

The committee approved the academic calendar for schools across Sindh. Officials confirmed the dates for admissions, exams, and vacations.

Admissions for classes up to grade 9 will continue from March 1 to March 31, 2026. Authorities will complete admissions for grade 11 from June 1 to the last week of July under the central admission policy.

Students from grades 1 to 3 will move to the next class without exams. Schools will hold exams for grades 4 to 8 from March 1 to March 15, 2026.

Boards will conduct grade 9 and 10 exams from March 30 to April 15, 2026. Officials will announce the grade 10 results on June 1, while they will release grade 9 results on June 15, 2026.

Authorities will hold grade 11 and 12 exams from April 15 to April 30, 2026. They will announce grade 12 results on June 15 and grade 11 results on July 1, 2026.

Schools will observe summer vacations from June 1 to July 31. Winter vacations will continue from December 21 to December 31.

The government declared 2026 as the Year of Environmental Awareness. Officials instructed schools to start tree plantation campaigns. They also directed every student and teacher to plant at least one tree.

The committee also decided to reorganize the steering committee. Officials will implement a new uniform curriculum for grades 9 and 10 from 2027. Schools will also hold STEAM competitions in August under the national education program.

The Sindh academic year 2026-27 schedule will help schools, students, and parents prepare for admissions, exams, and academic activities on time.
