King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud approved Saudi royal medals for organ donors for 200 Saudi citizens who donated their organs.
According to the Saudi Press Agency, each organ donor will also receive a certificate of appreciation from King Salman.
Saudi Arabia regularly runs campaigns encouraging people to donate organs and blood to help patients in need. These donation drives take place across all major cities at the same time. Their goal is to collect organs and blood for patients who require them.

The government honors those who donate blood ten times or more or donate their organs. Such individuals, whether Saudi citizens or foreign residents, receive medals and certificates of appreciation for their valuable services.
