Russia-Ukraine Missile and Drone Attacks caused heavy destruction across multiple cities. The strikes targeted Ukraine’s power systems and homes, killing at least six people and injuring many others.
Ukrainian officials confirmed that Dnipro city was hit, where two people died and twelve were injured. In Zaporizhzhia, three civilians were killed. Several missiles also struck the capital Kyiv and nearby regions.

The Ukrainian Prime Minister stated that major energy plants in Kharkiv and Kyiv were badly damaged. Large parts of these regions lost power, though repair teams are working to restore supply.
Ukraine’s Air Force reported that Russia fired over 450 drones and 45 missiles. Defense systems successfully destroyed nine missiles and 406 drones. In response, Russia’s Defense Ministry claimed it had shot down 79 Ukrainian drones.
The Ministry of Energy confirmed power disruptions in Dnipro and other cities. Russian officials said the strikes were meant to weaken Ukraine’s military strength.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky urged the world to keep strict sanctions against Russia, especially on its energy sector.
