Ramadan 1447 Special Message was issued by President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on the blessed start of the holy month.
They congratulated Muslims in Pakistan and around the world on the beginning of Ramadan 1447 Hijri.

President Asif Ali Zardari said that Ramadan is the month of mercy, forgiveness, and freedom from hellfire.
He congratulated the entire nation on the arrival of the holy month, and said Ramadan teaches piety, patience, sacrifice, and closeness to Allah.

President added that Ramadan gives the best opportunity to improve both individual and collective lives. He said the holy month spreads hope, patience, and unity among the people.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also congratulated Muslims across the world. He said Ramadan is a special blessing from Allah Almighty, and offers a chance for worship, piety, and spiritual purity.
PM explained that fasting builds patience, discipline, and a sense of responsibility in daily life.
He said Ramadan teaches respect for social duties and the rights of others.
The Prime Minister said the holy month encourages collective goodwill and support for weaker sections of society.
He said the government has launched a Ramadan package to help underprivileged people. PM prayed that Allah grants everyone the ability to follow the true teachings of the sacred month. He also prayed for peace, stability, development, and prosperity in Pakistan.
