Rain and Snowfall in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Kashmir

Rain and snowfall in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Kashmir have made the weather colder across many areas. Heavy rain and snowfall have started in different parts of the two regions.


Rain increased the cold in Peshawar, Hangu, and Charsadda. Snowfall covered Chitral, Kalam, Mahodand, and Malam Jabba with a white blanket. The temperature dropped sharply after the snowfall.


In northern Balochistan, the first winter rain arrived. Strong winds caused walls to collapse and trees to fall in several areas. The weather turned colder after the rain.

Rain also hit the lower Neelum Valley. Snow continued at intervals in the upper areas. The cold intensified due to ongoing snowfall.


Balochistan also received rain after a long dry spell. The cold increased across the province following the rainfall.


In Chaman, Qila Abdullah, and Toba Achakzai, rain with strong winds damaged power poles, walls, and trees. Several areas reported disruption due to bad weather.


The Meteorological Department said rain and snowfall may continue in the coming days. Authorities advised tourists to stay cautious and avoid unnecessary travel.


In conclusion, rain and snowfall in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Kashmir have lowered temperatures and affected daily life. Officials continue to monitor the situation closely.
