Punjab Bans Vehicles Without Green Stickers

The Punjab government has announced a strict action plan to control air pollution. Punjab bans vehicles without green stickers from November 15. The Environmental Protection Department (EPD) has made exhaust testing mandatory for all vehicles in Lahore.

EPD Director General Imran Hamid Sheikh said the department has launched an anti-pollution drive in the city. Vehicles without Exhaust Testing Certificates (ETS) or green stickers will be confiscated after the deadline.

He explained that only vehicles meeting EPD Punjab’s emission standards will be allowed on the roads. The government has enforced a zero-tolerance policy against pollution-causing vehicles.
