PSL Player Auction Base Prices Announced for Season 11

PSL player auction base prices announced for Season 11 as the Pakistan Cricket Board shared key details on Saturday.

The Pakistan Super League Season 11 player auction will take place on February 11. The PCB Chairman, Mohsin Naqvi, attended a special workshop related to the auction. All base prices and bids will be in Pakistani rupees.

The top category base price stands at PKR 42 million. The second category base price is PKR 22 million. The third category base price is PKR 11 million. The fourth category base price is set at PKR 6 million.

Each franchise must select a minimum of 16 players and can include up to 20 players in its squad. Teams can add between five and seven foreign players to their squads. The playing eleven must include at least three and no more than four foreign players.

Each team must include two under-23 uncapped players in the squad. At least one under-23 player must be part of the playing eleven. Players selected through the auction will receive a two-year contract. Franchises can also directly sign one foreign player.

With these rules in place, PSL player auction base prices announced for Season 11 have set clear expectations for teams ahead of the February 11 auction.
