Private University Suicide Incident in Lahore Shocks City

Private university suicide incident in Lahore has shocked the city after a young female student jumped from a university building in Nawab Town.

The incident happened on Raiwind Road in Lahore. The student studied at a private university in the area.

Police said the 21-year-old student jumped from the second floor of the building. She suffered serious injuries. Rescue teams rushed her to the hospital in critical condition.

Police officers reached the spot soon after the incident. They started an investigation and collected initial evidence.

Police also confirmed that this was the second such case at the same university in recent days. A male student had earlier jumped from the fourth floor and died.

According to police, the female student belonged to the D-Pharm department. She was a resident of Narang Mandi in Sheikhupura district.

After the incident, the university administration closed the campus for the day.
