Pakistan Will Not Tolerate Terrorism from Afghan Soil

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir stated that Pakistan seeks peace with all its neighbors, including Afghanistan. However, Pakistan will not tolerate terrorism from Afghan soil or any act that harms its security.

According to ISPR, Field Marshal Asim Munir visited Peshawar and met with tribal elders. The Corps Commander Peshawar welcomed him and briefed him at the Corps Headquarters about border security, operational readiness, and counterterrorism actions.

The tribal elders assured full support to the Pakistan Army against terrorism and the Afghan Taliban.

Field Marshal Asim Munir praised the firm support of the tribal people and appreciated their cooperation with security forces during the recent Pakistan-Afghanistan tensions.

He expressed concern over the Afghan Taliban’s behavior, saying that instead of acting against India-backed groups like Fitna-tul-Khawarij and Fitna-tul-Hindustan, they are supporting them. Field Marshal made it clear that Pakistan wants peace with all its neighbors but will not allow any cross-border terrorism.

He also promised to eliminate terrorism completely from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and across the country. He honored the courage and sacrifices of the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in fighting terrorism.

In the end, Field Marshal Asim Munir reaffirmed that Pakistan will not tolerate terrorism from Afghan soil and will continue efforts to maintain peace in the region.
