Pakistan Proud of Strong Ties with China: PM Shehbaz

Islamabad – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said Pakistan proud of strong ties with China. He congratulated the Chinese leadership and people on the 76th National Day of the People’s Republic of China.

In his message, the Prime Minister expressed his best wishes for the progress, prosperity, and success of the Chinese nation. He said this day not only reminds the world of China’s remarkable journey but also highlights its role in promoting peace, stability, and development across the globe.

Praise for President Xi’s Leadership

PM Shehbaz said under the visionary leadership of President Xi Jinping, China achieved milestones of growth and prosperity that serve as an example for the world.

He stressed that Pakistan-China relations stand as a bond of trust, sincerity, and sacrifices. This lasting friendship continues to grow stronger with time and ensures peace, development, and prosperity for future generations.

CPEC Enters Second Phase

The Prime Minister also highlighted his recent visit to China, calling it productive and successful. During the trip, Pakistan secured multi-billion-dollar investment agreements at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit and a business-to-business conference.

He added that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) remains the most significant joint project. Entering its second phase, CPEC will open new doors for economic growth, energy, and connectivity. “We are proud of our partnership with China and confident that together we will reach new milestones,” Shehbaz stated.

Interior Minister Hails Strategic Partnership

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi congratulated China on its 76th National Day, calling the Pakistan-China strategic partnership the foundation of regional balance and development.

According to him, China’s leadership achieved rapid economic stability and sustainable growth in a short period. The country’s progress in economic, social, and defense sectors, he noted, continues to bring prosperity and stability to the region.

A Friendship Beyond Borders

Minister Naqvi highlighted that the Himalayas, the deep seas, and the Karakoram mountains stand as witnesses to the unbreakable friendship between Pakistan and China. He recalled that China supported Pakistan in every crisis, regional challenge, and economic difficulty.

He said China has played a key role in strengthening Pakistan’s economic foundations, from Gwadar to Khunjerab, and from energy projects to communication links.

Lasting Brotherhood

Mohsin Naqvi paid tribute to China’s rich history, culture, and extraordinary development. He stressed that relations with China remain a permanent pillar of Pakistan’s foreign policy.

On this special day, he saluted the hard work and innovation of the Chinese people and prayed for their continued success. “Long live Pakistan-China friendship,” he concluded.
