Pakistan Health Sector Challenges Highlighted by Bilawal Bhutto
Pakistan health sector challenges continue to affect the country, said Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Tuesday.
He said Pakistan still faces serious problems in healthcare. These include maternal and child deaths, malnutrition, and diseases caused by climate change.
Bilawal Bhutto made these remarks while speaking at the convocation ceremony of Jinnah Sindh Medical University in Karachi.
He said Sindh has always been a land of knowledge, tolerance, and resilience. From the Indus Valley Civilization to modern Karachi, this land has produced thinkers, doctors, and reformers.
He stressed that challenges cannot be solved with slogans alone. He said professional skills, strong ethics, and a spirit of service are needed, especially in times of need.
Bilawal Bhutto urged young medical graduates to serve people with dedication. He said their role is critical in improving public health and addressing long-standing healthcare issues.
He added that climate change is creating new health risks. These risks increase pressure on an already strained health system.
Bilawal Bhutto reiterated that Pakistan health sector challenges demand practical action, commitment, and responsible leadership to protect the lives of future generations.
