Documents show that Pakistan’s total annual exports to the US last year were $5.28 billion. The yearly total trade volume between the two countries stood at $8.71 billion.
However, experts fear future challenges. A new trade deal between the US and the European Union with India may affect Pakistani exports. The US tariff on Pakistani products stands at 19%, while Indian goods face 18% tariffs.
Despite these concerns, Pakistan exports to US increased steadily in the current fiscal year and strengthened the country’s trade position.
