Pakistan Condemns Gaza Flotilla Attack, Demands End to Blockade

Islamabad – October 2, 2025: Pakistan has strongly condemned the Gaza flotilla attack and the stoppage of the Global Samoud Flotilla, calling the arrest of aid activists a clear violation of international law.

Pakistan Calls Out Israeli Aggression

The Foreign Office stated that the flotilla carried over 40 civilian ships and more than 500 international activists. They were on their way to deliver humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza. According to Pakistan, Israel’s actions put innocent lives at risk and exposed its disregard for international norms.

Humanitarian Aid Blocked

Officials noted that more than two million Palestinians suffer due to Israel’s ongoing aggression and illegal blockade. The statement described the act of stopping humanitarian aid as a serious violation of Israel’s obligations as an occupying power.

Call for Immediate Release of Activists

Pakistan has demanded an immediate and unconditional ceasefire and called for lifting the unlawful blockade of Gaza. It also urged Israel to release all flotilla workers and volunteers without delay.

Accountability for Violations

The Foreign Office spokesperson emphasized that Israel must be held accountable for repeated violations of international law. Pakistan reaffirmed its unwavering support for the Palestinian people and called for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state based on pre-1967 borders.

Jerusalem as the Capital of Palestine

The statement further stressed that Al-Quds Al-Sharif should be recognized as the capital of Palestine. Pakistan underlined that its support for Palestinians is firm and long-standing.

Through this strong stance, Pakistan has joined the international call for justice, peace, and humanitarian relief for the people of Gaza, who continue to suffer under Gaza flotilla attack and an illegal blockade.
