Pakistan Cambodia Bilateral Relations Talks Strengthen Ties

Pakistan Cambodia bilateral relations moved forward after high-level talks in Islamabad. Both countries agreed to improve cooperation and public connections.

Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani met King Norodom Sihamoni of Cambodia. He congratulated Cambodia’s leadership and people on their progress, stability, and national unity.

Both sides stressed the need to expand parliamentary cooperation. They also focused on increasing trade links and regional connectivity. Leaders highlighted the importance of stronger diplomatic engagement between parliaments.

The Chairman Senate underlined the value of implementing the 2016 Pakistan–Cambodia parliamentary agreement. He also welcomed Cambodia’s participation in the Inter-Parliamentary Speakers’ Conference.

Officials discussed opportunities in defense, economy, and environmental cooperation. They also agreed to promote Buddhist heritage linked to the ancient Gandhara civilization.

Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to closer ties with Southeast Asia. He said Cambodia plays an important role in regional peace, stability, and multilateral cooperation.

Both countries showed a clear commitment to expanding Pakistan Cambodia bilateral relations through trade, diplomacy, and cultural partnership.
