Pakistan Beat Australia by 90 Runs, Take 2-0 T20 Lead

Pakistan beat Australia by 90 runs in the second T20 match and secured a decisive 2-0 lead in the three-match series.

Team Pakistan played the match at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. Captain Salman Ali Agha won the toss and chose to bat first.

Pakistan scored 198 runs for 5 wickets in 20 overs. Salman Agha led from the front and played a strong captain’s knock. He scored 76 runs from 40 balls.

Usman Khan also impressed with the bat. He made 53 runs from 36 balls. Shadab Khan stayed not out on 28, and Mohammad Nawaz remained unbeaten on 9.

Earlier, Pakistan lost Sahibzada Farhan for 5 runs. Saim Ayub scored 23. Babar Azam returned to the pavilion for just 2 runs. Despite early wickets, Pakistan built momentum in the middle overs.

Australia failed to chase the 199-run target. Pakistan beat Australia comfortably as the visitors collapsed under spin pressure.

Australia got all out for 108 runs in 15.4 overs. Cameron Green scored 35, and Matthew Short made 27. No other batter stayed long at the crease.

Pakistan’s bowlers dominated the game. Abrar Ahmed and Shadab Khan took 3 wickets each. Usman Tariq claimed 2 wickets. Saim Ayub and Mohammad Nawaz picked up one wicket each.

Pakistan made three changes to the playing XI. Usman Tariq, Faheem Ashraf, and Naseem Shah joined the side. Shaheen Afridi, Salman Mirza, and Fakhar Zaman rested.

This victory gave Pakistan an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series. Pakistan also defeated Australia in a T20 series after seven years.
