Overnight rain disrupts communication system across Pakistan as weather conditions changed suddenly. Rain fell through the night in many cities. The dry cold weather ended, but the cold intensity increased.
In Sindh, clouds poured over Karachi and other cities. Rain fell in Hyderabad, Larkana, and Thatta. Streets turned wet, and traffic slowed in several areas.
In Punjab, rain hit Lahore and many nearby cities. Different parts of Lahore received steady rainfall. The city recorded an average of 2.8 millimeters of rain. Roads and low-lying areas filled with water.

Rain also continued in Faisalabad, Sargodha, Vehari, and Pir Mahal. Rawalpindi and Islamabad received light drizzle in several sectors. Peshawar also reported rainfall.
Chishtian, Bahawalnagar, Shorkot, Khanpur, and Minchinabad saw cloudy weather with rain. In Haripur, heavy rain caused streams to overflow. Streets and markets looked like small ponds.
The ongoing rain tripped electricity feeders in many cities. Power outages disrupted mobile signals and internet services. As a result, overnight rain disrupts communication system in several parts of the country.
