NADRA Fake Cash Reward Videos Warning to Citizens

NADRA fake cash reward videos warning alerts citizens about online fraud spreading on social media.

The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) warned people about fake cash reward videos circulating online. Officials asked citizens to stay alert and avoid becoming victims of digital fraud.

NADRA said these videos mostly spread in the Saraiki language. Scammers falsely use the name of former NADRA Chairman Usman Yousaf Mobeen to make the claims look real.

Videos claim that people whose CNICs have signatures qualify for cash rewards. NADRA clearly rejected this claim. The authority said the videos are fake and part of a planned attempt to mislead and exploit the public.

NADRA confirmed that it never offers cash prizes based on CNIC signatures. Officials said the authority never announces such schemes on unofficial social media platforms.

The organization advised citizens to verify information only through NADRA’s official website and verified social media accounts. It stressed that people should not trust random online messages.

Officials added that the spread of such false information shows that digital fraud is increasing. Scammers often target vulnerable communities through social media.

NADRA strongly urged the public not to share personal information, CNIC numbers, or OTP codes with unknown people or sources. Sharing such details can lead to identity theft and financial loss.

Citizens should report suspicious content and stay careful while using social media. Public awareness can help reduce online scams as the NADRA fake cash reward videos warning continues to highlight the risk.
