Modern Oil Extraction Technology Boosts Oil Output
Modern Oil Extraction Technology has increased oil production in Punjab’s Chakwal district. A Pakistani company achieved a major breakthrough after upgrading an oil well.
The well earlier produced only 50 barrels of oil per day. After technical improvements, the production has now reached 750 barrels per day. The company reported this major increase to the Pakistan Stock Exchange.
The Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) confirmed the development in an official letter. The company explained that it used special chemicals during different stages of oil extraction. These chemicals helped improve the flow of oil from the well.
OGDCL also installed a modern Electric Submersible Pump (ESP) system at the well. This advanced system played a key role in boosting production.
The well, known as Call-3, showed a strong improvement after a workover process. The company increased daily oil production by 700 barrels. This sharp rise reflects the success of the new technology and technical upgrades.
Energy experts say such improvements can reduce Pakistan’s reliance on imported oil. Higher local production can also strengthen the country’s energy sector.
The achievement highlights how Modern Oil Extraction Technology can transform low-producing wells into high-output energy sources.
