KPK Civil Servants Rules Amendment
The KPK Civil Servants Rules Amendment gives new rights to the families of employees who lose their lives during duty.
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has changed the Civil Servants Rules of 1989. The new rules allow the son or widow of a martyred employee to get a government job.
The appointing authority will now have the power to give a job to the legal heir of the martyred employee. If the child is very young, the widow will get a job from BPS-3 to BPS-11 at the provincial level or BPS-12 at the district level.

The government has made minimum qualification necessary for the post. If the employee had two wives, the first wife will get priority for the job.
If a higher pay scale post is vacant, the authority will make the appointment on that post. This facility applies only to non-gazetted posts. The KPK government has ordered to publish this amendment in the official gazette.
The KPK Civil Servants Rules Amendment aims to support families of employees who sacrifice their lives while serving the country.
