Kashmir Is Not Part of India, Pakistan Tells UN
Kashmir is not part of India, Pakistan said clearly at the United Nations during a strong response to Indian remarks.
In New York, Pakistani Consul Gul Qaiser Sarwani stated that Kashmir never belonged to India. He said Jammu and Kashmir remains an internationally recognized disputed territory.
He said India failed to honor the promise of self-determination for Kashmiris even after eight decades. He accused India of supporting militant groups, including TTP, Fitna-al-Khawarij, and the BLA.

The Pakistani envoy said India sponsors cross-border terrorism. He added that India remains involved in targeted killings in different countries, including North America.
He said India repeatedly showed aggression against Pakistan. He stated that these actions violate international law and the United Nations Charter. He again demanded that India stop state-sponsored terrorism.
He also rejected India’s statement on the Indus Waters Treaty. He said India deliberately distorted facts and misinterpreted an international agreement.
He clarified that the Indus Waters Treaty does not allow unilateral suspension or changes under any clause.
Pakistan reiterated at the UN that Kashmir is not part of India and remains a disputed region under international law.
