Karachi to Host World Culture Festival with 800 Artists

The Arts Council of Pakistan has announced the World Culture Festival 2025, which will run from October 30 to December 7 in Karachi. This year’s event will be bigger than ever, bringing together over 800 artists from 102 countries, representing every continent.

At a press briefing, Arts Council President Ahmed Shah shared that last year’s edition featured 44 countries, but this time the scale has doubled. Painters, sculptors, musicians, filmmakers, dancers, and theatre performers from across the globe will showcase their art. He called it a “historic cultural event” for Pakistan.

Renowned singer Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, who is also the festival’s brand ambassador, will perform on the closing day. He expressed his excitement about being part of the event and praised the Sindh government and Arts Council for supporting such cultural initiatives.
