Karachi Cold Wave Intensifies, Coldest Area Revealed
A Karachi cold wave continues as icy winds keep the city extremely cold today. The weather remains harsh due to strong and chilly air blowing across Karachi.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department reported that the weather stayed cold across the city during the last 24 hours. The minimum temperature dropped to single digits in many areas.
According to the Met Office, the coldest area remained near the airport, where the temperature fell to 6 degrees Celsius. This made it the coldest point in Karachi.

The department said the weather will remain dry over the next 24 hours. Nights will stay cold, and strong cold winds will blow at times. Wind speed may reach 30 to 35 kilometers per hour.
The Met Office forecast that the minimum temperature may stay between 8 and 10 degrees Celsius. The maximum temperature may range from 20 to 22 degrees Celsius.
At present, the city’s temperature stands at 8 degrees Celsius. Humidity remains at 54 percent. Northeasterly winds continue to blow at a speed of 8 kilometers per hour.
The Karachi cold wave is expected to persist, and residents should take precautions against the ongoing cold conditions.
