Justice Ameenuddin Takes Oath as Constitutional Court Head

Justice Ameenuddin takes oath today as the head of the Constitutional Court. He took this oath after the National Assembly and Senate approved the 27th Constitutional Amendment.

The administration completed all arrangements for the oath-taking ceremony of six judges. The setup was placed in the open area between the Islamabad High Court judges’ block and the admin block.

The six judges of the Constitutional Court will take their oaths at the Islamabad High Court. Justice Ameenuddin will administer the ceremony to all other judges. The expected time for the ceremony is 11 AM.

Before this event, Ameenuddin will take his own oath at the President House. President Asif Ali Zardari will administer the oath to him as the head of the Constitutional Court.

In the end, the ceremony will complete the formal process after the approval of the 27th Amendment, and Justice Ameenuddin takes oath as planned.
