Israel Rejects Gaza Board Over Policy Concerns
Israel Rejects Gaza Board after calling the proposed body against its official government policy.
Israel rejected the formation of the Gaza Board and said the plan conflicts with its national stance. The Israeli government made this clear in an official statement.
According to foreign media reports, the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office said no one consulted Israel before announcing the Gaza Board. The statement stressed that such decisions cannot move forward without Israel’s involvement.
Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar will raise the Gaza Board issue with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio. He plans to share Israel’s concerns directly with Washington.
Earlier, the White House announced the names of members of the “Gaza Board of Peace.” The board is part of former US President Donald Trump’s proposed peace plan.
The plan aims to coordinate security, humanitarian aid, and reconstruction efforts in Gaza. It also seeks to support reforms in the Palestinian Authority and governance structure.
However, Israel Rejects Gaza Board again at the end of the discussion and maintains that the initiative goes against its stated policies.
