Is Roblox down? Thousands report outage as gamers face problems accessing the popular online platform late Thursday night.

Many users reported issues on December 18, 2025. DownDetector showed nearly 16,000 complaints within a short time. Most reports came around 11:30 p.m.

About half of the users saw error messages while opening the website Roblox.com. Many players could not log in or load games on the website.

Game has around 83 million daily active users. The outage quickly caused concern across the gaming community.

Several users shared their experience on X. One gamer said the game crashed and ruined their night. Another warned players not to join any game links to avoid losing in-game data.

Some users claimed the issue only affected the website. They said the games mobile app continued to work normally.

So far, Roblox developers have not released any official statement about the outage or its cause.
