Iran Ready for War and Talks, Says Iranian Foreign Minister
Iran ready for war and talks as tensions rise, Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said on Sunday. He stated that Iran has prepared itself for both military conflict and diplomatic negotiations.
The foreign minister said violence increased over the weekend. He explained that terrorists attacked both protesters and security forces. However, he confirmed that authorities have now brought the situation fully under control.
He said peaceful protests in recent days turned violent. He added that attackers burned around 350 mosques during two weeks of unrest. Despite this, Iranian security forces showed maximum restraint during the clashes.

Abbas Araghchi said protesters raised legitimate demands. He stated that the government listened to these demands and continued dialogue with the public.
He claimed violence escalated after statements about possible US intervention. He said some groups wanted to create an excuse for foreign involvement by turning protests bloody.
The foreign minister repeated that Iran ready for war and talks remains the country’s clear position. He stressed that Iran will protect its sovereignty while staying open to negotiations.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump claimed that Iran contacted the US to start talks. He said arrangements were underway. At the same time, Trump warned that the US was also considering military options against Iran, even before negotiations begin.
