India Using Afghan Soil Against Pakistan

India using Afghan soil against Pakistan, said Defense Minister Khawaja Asif. He stated that India is supporting the Afghan Taliban in Kabul and starting a low-intensity war against Pakistan.

In an interview with Al Arabiya, Khawaja Asif said that the Taliban are acting as India’s proxy. He added that India is using Afghan territory to launch small attacks on Pakistan’s borders.

The defense minister mentioned that Pakistan has solid proof of links between New Delhi and the Afghan Taliban. He revealed that when a Taliban minister visited India, clashes occurred along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border. Pakistan gave a strong response, and several soldiers were martyred.

Khawaja Asif further said that a few months ago, Pakistan defeated India in a conflict and shot down seven Indian aircraft. He claimed even the U.S. President mentioned this several times.

He warned that if Afghan soil is used for terrorism against Pakistan, Islamabad will not remain silent. “We always wanted peace,” he said, “but if Kabul chooses conflict, Pakistan has the strength to respond.”

Earlier, Khawaja Asif had warned the Taliban regime that if they handed their control to Delhi, it would be dangerous. “Even if we have to go deep inside Afghanistan, we will respond,” he added.

He said Pakistan sincerely tried to keep peace with Afghanistan, but if Kabul continues aggression, Pakistan will give a strong reply.

Khawaja Asif concluded that India using Afghan soil against Pakistan will never be accepted and Pakistan is fully prepared to defend its sovereignty.
