Hamas Israel Agreement: US May Present Its Own Peace Plan

The Hamas Israel agreement talks may soon face a turning point. The United States has warned that if Hamas and Israel fail to reach a deal to end the Gaza war, Washington will introduce its own peace formula to ensure an immediate ceasefire and lasting peace in the region.

White House Press Secretary Carolina Leavitt told reporters that President Trump is deeply involved in the peace efforts. She said his top priority is to secure the release of hostages as soon as possible.

According to Leavitt, “President Trump wants peace in Gaza. If both sides fail to agree, we will present a strong and practical peace plan of our own.”

The White House confirmed that technical teams are holding ongoing discussions focused mainly on releasing Israeli hostages and Palestinian prisoners. Leavitt added, “After the hostages are released, our next goal will be to establish permanent peace in Gaza.”

Peace talks are currently taking place in Egypt’s coastal city Sharm El-Sheikh, with delegations from both Israel and Hamas. These discussions are part of the US-backed peace initiative. According to Al Jazeera, the talks are not direct but indirect, with Egyptian officials acting as mediators. The main agenda includes a step-by-step ceasefire, hostage exchange, and the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza.

Rising Internal Political Tensions in the US

Leavitt also discussed the growing political tension in the United States. She mentioned that the government needs five Democratic votes to avoid a shutdown, but Democrats are blocking the process.

She accused them of putting “thousands of American jobs at risk,” adding that “their priorities seem to favor illegal immigrants over American citizens.”

The White House urged citizens to pressure their representatives to reopen the government and prevent further harm to the national economy.

The Hamas Israel agreement remains uncertain, but the US has made it clear that it will not stay silent if peace efforts fail. Washington plans to introduce its own framework to stop the war and restore stability in the Middle East.
