Google Maps’ New Settings Design Rolled Out for Users

Google Maps’ new settings design has started rolling out to users with a cleaner and more organized layout. Google has introduced this update to improve ease of use and faster navigation.

The company has released the new design to a limited number of users for now. Users can currently see it on Pixel phones through the beta version.

Google has redesigned the settings screen in a simple and structured way. The company has divided all options into seven main sections. This change helps users find settings more quickly and easily.

One major update makes the sign-out button clearly visible. Earlier, users had to scroll down to find it. Now, Google places it in a prominent position.

Google has also changed the close option for settings. The app now shows an “X” button in the top right corner. Earlier, users closed settings using the back arrow on the top left.

In addition, Google has moved some options into more relevant menus. This change improves clarity and reduces confusion for users.

However, Google has not fully applied the Material Three Expressive design yet. Many other Google apps already use this design style, but Google Maps still lacks full integration.

Overall, Google Maps’ new settings design focuses on simplicity, better navigation, and improved user experience.
