Gold Price in Pakistan Drops by Rs9000 Per Tola

Gold price in Pakistan drops by Rs9000 per tola recorded as a major decline on the second day of the business week.

The All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association reported a sharp fall in local gold rates on Tuesday.

The price of gold per tola dropped by Rs9,000. After the decrease, the new price reached Rs514,762 per tola.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold also fell. It declined by Rs7,716. The new price for 10 grams now stands at Rs441,325.

Global market also sees big drop

The international gold market also showed a strong downward trend.

The price of gold per ounce fell by $130 in the global market. It dropped from $5,010 to $4,879 per ounce.
