Fusion Energy Breakthrough in China Achieved by Scientists
Fusion energy breakthrough in China has marked a major scientific milestone, as Chinese scientists achieve a result once considered impossible.
Beijing-based researchers from the Chinese Academy of Sciences announced this achievement on Thursday. They confirmed that their experimental nuclear reactor, known as the Artificial Sun, reached an extremely high plasma density.
Scientists had earlier believed this plasma level could not be achieved. This success removes a key barrier in understanding next-generation energy sources.

Nuclear fusion produces massive energy without releasing harmful waste. It copies the same natural process that powers the Sun. However, scientists have always found it very difficult to control fusion on a large scale.
In recent years, researchers have made steady progress in this field. Last year, China’s Artificial Sun ran successfully for more than 1,000 seconds for the first time.
Later, a French WEST machine broke this record. Even so, experts say China’s latest achievement remains highly important.
Scientists believe this fusion energy breakthrough in China can bring the world closer to clean, safe, and nearly unlimited power in the future.
