Fauji Fertilizer Joins Arif Habib Consortium
National airline privatization takes a major step forward as Fauji Fertilizer Company officially joins the Arif Habib Consortium.
The consortium confirmed the partnership in an official statement. It said Fauji Fertilizer joined to support the airline financially and add strong corporate expertise.
The statement explained that the consortium secured 75 percent shares of the national airline by placing the highest bid of Rs135 billion.

Fauji Fertilizer joins the Arif Habib Consortium will now become part of the airline’s management structure. The company will help improve operations and strengthen governance.
The consortium also announced a Rs125 billion investment in the first year. This amount will focus on upgrading ground operations and improving service quality.

Earlier, the Arif Habib Consortium won the privatization bid with Rs135 billion. The Lucky Consortium placed the second-highest bid of Rs134 billion.
