Eid Tourists Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Murree Travel Report

A large number of tourists visited northern areas during Eid holidays. The Eid tourists Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Murree trend showed strong travel activity across popular destinations.

Authorities released official data about tourist arrivals. The data covers the three days of Eid-ul-Fitr.
Officials from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority shared the figures. They reported that more than 262,000 tourists visited the province during Eid.

Swat Valley remained the top destination. Over 186,000 tourists traveled to Swat during the holidays.

Galiyat also received a good number of visitors. Around 51,886 tourists visited the area. Officials confirmed that 76 foreign tourists also explored different locations in the province.

The government ensured smooth operations. Authorities canceled leave for tourism police to manage crowds and support visitors.

On the other hand, Murree also saw heavy tourist activity. According to District Police Officer Raza Tanveer, around 74,196 vehicles entered Murree during the three days.

He stated that nearly 375,000 tourists visited Murree. Authorities successfully managed traffic and security during this period.

Officials reported a 48.8% decrease in traffic congestion compared to last year. This improvement helped maintain better flow and safety.

A total of 15,728 vehicles stayed in Murree during Eid. On the first day, 17,716 vehicles entered, while 10,038 vehicles exited the city.

Around 1,640 vehicles stayed and entered the city on the first day. Authorities confirmed that the situation remained peaceful throughout the holidays.

No major incident occurred during the Eid period. Security teams remained active and alert.

Eid tourists Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Murree trend highlights strong tourism growth. It also shows improved management and better visitor experience this year.
