Strong earthquake tremors in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and Peshawar shocked people late at night. The tremors were also felt in several cities of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
People in Peshawar, Malakand, Buner, and Haripur reported the shocks. The earthquake was also felt in areas like Dir Bala, Taxila, Daud Khel, Gujrat, Swat, Bajaur, Bannu, Malakand, Shangla, and Rawalpindi.

The earthquake measured 5.3 on the Richter scale and had a depth of 234 kilometers. Its epicenter was located in the Hindu Kush region of Afghanistan.
According to the Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA), the earthquake occurred at 11:15 PM. The spokesperson confirmed that no loss of life or property has been reported so far.
PDMA urged citizens to stay calm and report any emergency situation to their helpline number 1700.
Many people ran out of their homes in fear while reciting prayers during the tremors.
The situation remains under control, and authorities continue to monitor affected areas after the earthquake tremors in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and Peshawar.
