Digital Traffic E-Challan One App Launched in Punjab
The Digital Traffic E-Challan system has been launched in Punjab to improve traffic law enforcement.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif officially launched the Traffic E-Challan One App. Authorities introduced a modern system based on solid evidence.
The Traffic Police spokesperson said officers will now issue challans with video proof. This step will ensure transparency. The system will store and verify video recordings of traffic violations.
Officials confirmed that officers can check CNIC, driving license, and stolen vehicle records on the spot. The system also verifies vehicle ownership, fitness certificates, and route permits instantly.
Authorities will also take digital action against encroachments and environmental violations. Under the integrated system, officers will check e-challan records, FIR status, and criminal history.
