Christmas celebration at Pakistani Embassy in US took place on Wednesday at the Pakistan Embassy in Washington, DC. The embassy hosted a special event to mark the festive occasion.

Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States, Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, shared a special message at the event. He extended Christmas and New Year greetings to the Christian community in the US, Pakistan, and around the world.


He said Christmas brings joy not only for Christians but for people across the globe. He added that the occasion promotes happiness, peace, and unity.


The ambassador said Pakistan is a multicultural, multilingual, and multiethnic society. He noted that its social, cultural, and religious traditions developed over thousands of years.


He stressed the importance of focusing on shared values instead of differences. He said mutual respect and participation in each other’s celebrations strengthen human bonds and promote interfaith harmony.


Ambassador Rizwan Saeed Sheikh said Muslims believe that Hazrat Isa (Jesus Christ) was one of God’s chosen prophets and deserves respect and honor.


He also referred to United Nations resolutions that support interfaith harmony. He said these resolutions discourage hatred within the framework of internationally recognized human rights.


The ambassador wished the Christian community a joyful Christmas. He prayed that the new year 2026 brings peace, progress, and prosperity to the world.


He concluded by saying that the spirit of Christmas should continue not only in 2026 but in the years to come. The Christmas celebration at Pakistani Embassy in US reflected this message of unity and goodwill.
