Bill Gates said AI can improve healthcare, education, and many other sectors. However, poor management of this technology can harm jobs, hiring systems, and the global economic structure.

He questioned whether governments will retrain workers with new skills or change tax systems to manage AI-driven disruption. He added that AI impacts may seem limited today, but this situation will not last long.

These concerns also appear in his recent annual letter, The Year Ahead. In the letter, he said AI is moving faster and deeper than any past technological revolution.

He pointed out that AI already boosts productivity in software development. At the same time, low-skill jobs in logistics and call centers are disappearing.

He warned that without control, wealth and opportunities could concentrate in a few hands. This shift could widen inequality worldwide.

Bill Gates AI warning highlights the urgent need for smart policies to manage AI growth and protect economic balance.
