She received many awards in her short life. These included the Fatima Jinnah Gold Medal, Salam Pakistan Youth Award, and Pride of Performance Award.

The world’s youngest Microsoft-certified IT professional passed away on January 14, 2012. She was only 16 years old when she died in Lahore.

To honor her remarkable achievements, the Punjab government named the IT Tower after Arfa Karim. This tribute keeps her legacy alive for future generations.
